3 Tbsp chilled chocolate-flavored syrup

2 Tbsp chilled whole milk

½ to ¾ cup chilled seltzer water or club soda

1 large scoop vanilla ice cream

Sweetened whipped cream for garnish

Maraschino cherry or chocolate curls for garnish

Recipe



For each serving, combine the chilled milk and chocolate syrup in a 12-ounce chilled glass. Add the seltzer water to fill the glass three-quarters full and stir. Add the vanilla ice cream and top with seltzer water. If you're in an extravagant mood, garnish with sweetened whipped cream and a maraschino cherry or chocolate curls.

Makes 1 serving.
