    1 envelope rapid-rise yeast
    1 T. sugar
    3/4 C. warm water (100'-110')
    1 - 20 oz. box all-purpose baking mix (Bisquick or Jiffy)
    1/2 chopped pecans
    1 C. buttermilk
    1/4 C. butter, melted
    2 T. prepared pesto
    1/2 C. flour
    coarse-grained dijon mustard

    Recipe



    Combine yeast, sugar, and water in lrg. mixing bowl; let set 5 minutes.
    Add baking mix and next 4 ingredients to yeast mixture, stirring until moistened. Stir in flour-(up to 1/2 c.) as needed until dough pulls away from sides of bowl. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead gently 2-3 times.
    Pat or roll dough to a 1" thickness; cut biscuits with a 1 1/2" round cutter. Place biscuits in a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 425' for 10-12 minutes or lightly browned. Split biscuits; serve with meat and mustard.
