    2 C. Sugar
    1 C. Br. Sugar
    1 C. Milk
    dash salt
    3 C. Pecan Halves
    1 T. Butter
    1 t. Vanilla

    Recipe



    Combine sugars, milk and salt in a lrg. heavy pan. Cook over low heat, stirring intil sugar is melted. Add the nuts and cook to a soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Without stirring, add the butter and let stand 5 minutes. Add vanilla and stir until slightly thick and begins to look cloudy. Drop by spoonfuls onto a buttered baking sheet and let dry.
    Will keep for days if individually wrapped or put in airtight container.
