    Church Ladies Chicken Spaghetti Casserol

    List of Ingredients




    3-4 cups cooked chicken in bite-sized pieces.
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 stick margarine or butter
    2 cans mushroom soup
    1 soup can of water
    2 small jars of Old English Cheese Spread
    1 small bottle stuffed olives, chopped
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    4 oz. spaghetti, cooked and drained

    Saute onion and green pepper in margarine or butter.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Add mushroom soup, water, cheese spread, olives, mushrooms, and water chestnuts.
    Cook over low heat until cheese is melted and sauce is heated through.
    Put chicken over the bottom of a 9x13-inch oven dish.
    Mix spaghetti with sauce and pour over chicken.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

    This can be made up to two days ahead and refrigerated - cover dish with plastic wrap.
    Or it may be frozen.
    Start in a cold oven and cook for about an hour or until heated through.
