Recipe Introduction

My husbands FAVORITE cookie! This is the original "old" recipe.

List of Ingredients

1/2 C. shortening
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C. flour
2 t. cream of tarter
1 t. baking soda
1/2 T. salt


Recipe

Blend together the shortening, sugar,and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture.
Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll the balls in a mixture of;
2 t. cinnamon and 2 T. sugar

Place on ungreased baking sheets 2" apart. Bake at 400' for 8-10 minutes.
