This is AWESOME! Very rich and great to "WOW" company with.
Takes awhile to make, but very worth it! Whatever you do- make sure you DO NOT leave the can unattended while it's cooking. The first time I made this, it ended up ALLOVER my kitchen ceiling!!!
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
6-8 Lettuce leaves
1 can Pineapple rings
Whip cream
6-8 Marachino cherries
Recipe
Cook the milk in it's can over low heat in a sm. saucepan with water for 4 hours. Make sure it doesn't boil dry!
Leave it in the can to cool completely. Then take it out by opening each end of the can and sliding out.
Slice into 6-8 slices.
To assemble; on a dessert plates (I use clear sm. crystal ones) Lay a lettuce leaf down ,then a pineapple ring, then a slice of the "caramel" milk, then a dollop of whipped cream (fresh homemade is best). Then garnish with a cherry on top!
