My favorite way to eat this is with fresh sweetned strawberries and whipped cream on top!
List of Ingredients
2 Eggs, beaten
2 C. all purpose Flour, sifted
1 t. Baking Powder
1 1/2 C. Milk
1 t. Salt
2 C. Veg. OilRecipe
Combine eggs and milk in mixing bowl. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to egg mixture. Beat smooth with mixer. (Check mixture to see if it will flow easily through a funnel. If too thick, add milk. If too thin, add flour)
In 8" skillet, heat the oil to 360', Covering the bottom of the funnel with your finger-pour in a generous 1/2 cup of batter.
Remove your finger and release the batter into the hot oil in a spiral shape. Fry until golden, about 3 minutes. Using a spatula and tongs, turn cake over carefully and cook 1 minute more. Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar. ENJOY!!!
***Also good with chocolate syrup drizzled over top***
