    Another way I like to make these is to just simply stuff each date with a almond. Easy and tastes great!

    List of Ingredients




    3 oz. reduced-fat cream cheese
    1/2 c. confectioners’ sugar
    2 tsp. grated orange peel
    30 pitted dates

    Recipe



    Plan ahead…needs to chill for at least 1 hour.

    Serves: 10

    In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and orange peel until blended. Carefully make a slit in the center of each date; fill with cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

    3 stuffed dates equal: 102 calories…2 gm fat (1 gm saturated)…6 mg cholesterol…37 mg sodium…22 gm carbohydrate…2 gm fiber…1 gm protein ++++ Exchanges: 1 fruit…1/2 fat+++ WWP: 2
