    This is a favorite of mine. I have been making it for years. It's "comfort food" at it's best.

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. extra lean hamburger
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1/2-3/4 C. water
    1 can ff cream mushroom soup
    1 C. ff beef broth

    Recipe

    Mix the hamburger meat with the dry onion soup mix and water. The mixture should be a "little mushy"-start with 1/2 C of water first. Form into 4 patties.Cook on med. to high heat in your favorite nonstick skillet till nice and browned and juices run clear.
    Combine the cr. mush. soup and beef broth in small saucepan and simmer till nice and hot. Pour gravy over the burgers and serve. Makes 4 servings.
    You can also do this in the oven or crockpot.

    I like to serve it with mashed potatoes, a veggie, and a good salad.
