Braised Sirloin Tips

List of Ingredients
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon unseasoned meat tenderizer
2 pounds beef sirloin tips, cut into cubes and all visible fat removed
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1-1/4 cups low-sodium beef broth
1/3 cup dry red wine
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
Recipe
In lrg. non-stick skillet over med/high heat, brown on all sides, the meat that has been sprinkled with pepper and meat tenderizer until well browned.
Add garlic and onions and cook until onions are translucent.
Add broth, wine, and soy sauce and heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours - or intil meat is tender.
In a sm. bowl, blend the cornstartch and water till smooth, then slowly pour mixture into skillet, stirring constantly. Continue to cook and stir intil the gravy thickens. Sprinkle parsley on top.
Great served with rice.
