List of Ingredients
1/4-1/2 cup olive oil (good quality)
4-6 garlic cloves, minced
1 t. red pepper flakes
1/2 cup dry white wine
Salt to taste
1/2 cup minced Italian parsley (opt.)
1 jar of kalamata olives, sliced (reserve juice)
1 pound dried or fresh spaghettiRecipe
Bring a large pot of water to a boil with 3 quarts of water.
Prepare the sauce: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic,and red pepper flakes.
Next add the white wine and about 1/4 C. reserved olive juice, let come to a full boil, then turn heat down and let it reduce a little. Then add the sliced olives, and simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
Mix well with the spaghetti noodles and serve with freshly grated aged parmesean cheese.
