Recipe Introduction
This is great over meatloaf! I just use canned whole tomatoes squished up.
List of Ingredients
1-2 Roma tomatoes, peeled and diced
1/4 cup or more meat drippings, fat or butter
1/4-1/2 cup flour
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 cups milk
little sugar
opt. dash of italian seasoningsRecipe
Melt fat or butter in a large pot or skillet. Add flour and salt. Wisk until smooth and starting to brown. Add milk and cook on medium-high, whisking often until almost thickened. Add tomatoes and cook for one or two minutes until desired thickness.
