    1/3 cup corn oil
    2 pounds round or flank steak, sliced and cut into bite-sized pieces
    1 Tbsp. sesame oil
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oyster sauce (can be found in most grocery stores with other Chinese food products)
    1 Tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
    1/4 cup green onions, chopped
    1 8-oz. can sliced water chestnuts
    1 pound snow peas, strings trimmed away
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/3 cup water

    Recipe



    Heat corn oil in a large skillet. Add beef and stir-fry until beef is almost done. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, oyster sauce, ginger, green onions, water chestnuts and snow peas and continue cooking over medium heat until snow peas are crisp-tender. Combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl and mix until smooth, add to stir-fry and cook until thickened. Serve hot with hot cooked rice. Don't overcook the snow peas.
