    Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

    List of Ingredients




    1 3/4 cup flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth)
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup light brown sugar
    1 egg
    unwrapped Hershey's Kisses (about 30 or so..I'm not even sure how many this yields)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Soften butter in a large bowl. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla, sugars and egg. Gradually add the flour, baking soda and salt, mixing with a fork or spoon until a soft dough forms.

    Using your hands roll heaping tablespoon-sized pieces of dough into balls and place on ungreased cookies sheets.
    Bake for approx. 8 minutes....don't let them get too brown on top.

    Remove from oven and gently press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.

    Let cool (the kisses will be melty so you can't stack them for quite awhile).
