2 beaten eggs
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
½ cup rolled oats
½ cup chopped onion
3 T. chopped green pepper
1 t. salt Dash thyme Dash marjoram Pepper
2 pounds ground round
Topping:
Onion slices ½ cup tomato sauce Onion powder
Recipe
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together all but the ground round in the loaf recipe. Add the ground round. Mix well.
Shape mixture into a loaf and place in a 9 ¼ x 5 ¼ x 2 ¾-inch pan.
Top liberally with onion slices, tomato sauce and onion powder.
Bake for 1 ¼ hours.
Yield: 6-8 servings.
