    Beef Tomato Hawaiian Style

    This is one of the tasiest Hawaiian dishes I have eaten. Simply ono!!

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. Round or Flank Steak
    2 T. Soy Sauce
    1 clove Garlic, minced
    2 tsp. Ginger, minced
    2 T. Oil
    1 each Green Bell Pepper, cut into strips
    1 each Medium Onion, thinly sliced
    2 stalks Celery, thinly sliced diagonally
    3 each Tomatoes, cut into wedges
    4 stalks Green Onions, cut into 1-inch lengths
    1 pinch Ground Black Pepper


    Beef Tomato Sauce

    1 cup Chicken Broth
    1 T. Cornstarch
    2 T. Soy Sauce
    2 T. Oyster Sauce
    1/4 cup Ketchup
    1 T. Sugar (granulated)

    Recipe

    Slice beef thinly into strips. Combine soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger. Add to beef and mix well. Marinate for 20 minutes. Meanwhile prepare beef tomato sauce. In a wok or a heavy frying pan over medium-high, heat 1 tablespoon oil and stir-fry beef for 2 minutes. Remove beef from pan and set aside. Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil and stir-fry bell pepper, onion, and celery until onion is translucent, about 3 minutes. Add tomatoes and sauce and cook about 2 minutes. Add beef and green onions. Serve over hot rice. Instructions for Beef Tomato Sauce: Combine all ingredients. Mix well. (Yield-6)
