I loved these as a kid!

List of Ingredients

1 cup sugar
2 Tbs. shortening, melted
2 eggs
4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup milk


Recipe

Beat eggs until light. Add sugar gradually, beating well. Blend in shortening. Sift dry ingredints together and add alternately with the milk to sugar mixture. Roll dough 1/4" thick on a floured board. Cut and fry at 375 degrees until done. Shake in a bag with powdered sugar or cinnamon-sugar.
