    These are THE BEST sugar cookies ever!

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups sugar
    1 cup margarine
    2 eggs
    1 cup milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    5 cups flour
    Your favorite recipe for vanilla frosting, colored if desired

    Put soda in milk and stir. Beat sugar and margarine together. Add eggs. Add baking powder to flour. alternate flour with milk and stir by hand. (If you have it, a really heavy-duty mixer will work too. Like a Kitchenaid) Using a tablespoon, drop six onto an ungreased cookie sheet. I get 18 and my mother-in-law gets 2 1/2 dozen. Bake 12-15 minutes depending on size.

    Frost with frosting.
