Tom-and-Jerry Brownies

List of Ingredients
- 1 package (1 puond 6.5 ounces) Betty Crocker Supreme brownie mix (with chocoalte syrup pouch)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon brandy or 2 teaspoons brandy extract
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 egg
- Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375. Grease bottom only of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Make brownie mix as directed on package for fudgelike brownies, using water, oil and 2 eggs. Pour half of batter into pan.
- Stir remaining ingredients except powdered sugar in small bowl until smooth. Drop cheese mixture by spoonfuls onto brownie batter. Pour remaining brownie batter over cheese mixture. Swirl cheese mixture through brownie batter with knife for marbled design.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean; cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. For brownies, but into 6 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.
