    Layers of spongy cake and luxurious, creamy filling are the perfect spring combo. This is one of those recipes that I love to keep in my back pocket. It works for a dinner party, a shower, a coffee get-together, or even a weeknight dinner - not many recipes have that kind of versatility! And the best part is that prep is a snap.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
    • 1 can (20 oz.) Dole Crushed Pineapple in Juice, undrained
    • 1 cup thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping
    • 1 prepared round angel food cake (10 oz.)
    • 10 fresh strawberries


    Instructions


    1. MIX dry pudding mix and pineapple in medium bowl. Gently stir in whipped topping.
    2. CUT cake horizontally into 3 layers. Place bottom cake layer on serving plate; top with one-third of the pudding mixture. Repeat layers 2 times.
    3. REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour. Top with strawberries just before serving. Store leftovers in refrigerator.


    Final Comments


    Makes 10 servings, 1 piece each.
