Chocolate-Chocolate Candy Cookies

Pillsbury Holiday Cookies & Candies
List of Ingredients
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups Pillsbury BEST All Purpose or Unbleached Flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup red and green candy-coated chocolate pieces
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 F. In large bowl, combine shortening, margarine and sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and eggs; beat until smooth.
- Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; blend well. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350 F. for 8 to 9 minutes or until edges are set. Do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets.
