- 2 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups Pillsbury BEST All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375 F. In large bowl, combine brown sugar and butter; beat until well blended. Add vanilla and eggs; blend well.
- Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Add flour, baking soda and pecans; mix well. Shape sough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten to 1/8 inch thickness with bottom of glass dipped in 3 tablespoons sugar.
- Bake at 75 F. for 6 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool 2 minutes or until completely cooled.
