    Spinach & Ricotta Manicotti

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
    • 1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta Cheese
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
    • 1 tsp. garlic salt
    • 8 manicotti shells, cooked and drained
    • 1 can (14.5 oz.) Contadina Tomato Paste with Italian Herbs
    • 1 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
    • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded


    Instructions


    1. Combine spinach, ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan cheese and garlic salt. Spoon into cooked manicotti shells; place in 12x8-inch baking dish.

    2. Combine undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, basil plus 1 cup water. Pour over manicotti. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

    3. Bake uncovered in preheated 350 F oven, 30 minutes or until heated through.
