- 1 loaf (1 pound) frozen honey-wheat bread dough, thawed
- 1/4 cup fat-free Italian dressing
- 1/2 pound asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 medium carrots, sliced (1 cup)
- 1 cup small broccoli flowerets
- 3 roma (plum) tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 450. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Pat or roll dough into 12-inch circle on cookie sheet. Prick dough thoroughly with fork. Bake 8 minutes.
- Heat dressing to boiling in 10-inch non-stick skillet. Stir in asparagus, carrots and broccoli. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to medium. Cover and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Place tomato sices on partially baked crust. Spread vegetable mixture evenly over tomatoes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
