    4 cups flour
    4 tablespoons sugar
    1 12-ounce can beer (not light beer)

    Recipe



    Mix flour and sugar well. Make a well in the center and pour in beer; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.) Fill 12 greased muffin tins, about two-thirds full. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with butter and jam or preserves.
