    Dutch Apple Pie

    Easy to make, one crust. Save time by using frozen Pet-Ritz deep dish pie shell.

    List of Ingredients




    Filling
    7 medium apples, peeled, cored, sliced thinly
    1/2 C. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    Topping
    3/4 C. packed brown sugar
    3/4 C. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/3 C. margarine

    Recipe



    Make or buy Pie Crust for one crust Pie. Use your favorite pie apples.
    Mix all filling ingredients and place in pie crust, mounding up high.
    Mix topping ingredients in separate bowl with pastry blender. Sprinkle on top of apples.

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place pie on cookie sheet in oven. Turn oven down to 400 after 15 minutes. Continue to bake approximately 20 minutes or until filling is hot and bubbly. If top starts to burn turn oven down to 375 or cover lightly with foil.
