    9 c. sifted flour
    1/3 c. baking powder
    4 t. salt
    2 1/2 t. cream of tartar
    2 c. shortening

    Recipe



    Sift together dry ingredients and cut in shortening until
    mixture resembles fine crumbs. Refrigerate in a closed container.
    Can be saved for weeks. To use, remove 2 cups of mixture and add
    enough milk to make dough or batter.
