New England Clam Chowder

List of Ingredients
3 T. butter
3 Celery stalks, diced
1 Large Onion, diced
2 Cloves garlic, finely diced
2 cans of chopped clams
1/2 c. clam juice
1 c. half and half
2 cans potato soup (*or leftover homemade*)
1/4 cup of REAL bacon bits
Recipe
Saute celery and onions in butter til tender. Add
garlic, clams, and clam
juice - simmer 10 minutes. Add 1/2 and 1/2, soup, and
REAL bacon bits.
Simmer 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot.
I like a bit of hot sauce w/ mine.
