Recipe Introduction
Besides being good, I love this one because after browning the beef, you just mix it all up in a 9x13” pan.
List of Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- ¼ tsp. minced garlic
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 1 16 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 3 cans golden mushroom soup
- 4 cups mashed potatoes (instant works great)
- Shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Saute onion until soft.
Add garlic & beef & brown.
- Pour into 9x13 baking dish.
Mix in seasonings, add veggies & soup, stir well.
Flatten out top.
- Layer mashed potatoes on top like frosting.
End with thin layer of shredded sharp cheddar cheese to top.
- Cover lightly with foil, then remove during last 10 mins.
Bake for 30 mins.
- 6 servings.
