    My mom always made applesauce cake from a recipe from my Aunt Betty. Well, it took all day to make and it smelled wonderful. My sisters and I always tried to duplicate it from the recipe, but we never got it right. But, thanks to the cake mix dr. book I have finally done it in less than half the time and the ingredients have been reduced a lot.
    It is very low fat, but you’d never know it!!


    List of Ingredients




    1 box Spice cake mix
    1-2 tbsp. cinnamon to taste
    1 can apple pie filling, chopped somewhat
    3 eggs
    ½ C raisins
    ¼ C chopped walnuts (optional)

    Recipe



    Pre heat oven to 350.

    In large bowl combine all ingredients.
    Stirring with large spoon till completely combined.
    I used a loaf pan, but I am sure you can use a bundt pan.
    Pour into well greased & floured pan.
    Bake at 350 for 40-50 mins.
    Cake is done when inserted tooth pick comes out clean.
