    Gramma Katie’s Fruit Cobbler

    List of Ingredients




    Fruit Mixture

    2 - 29 oz cans fruit or berries & juice
    Or 6 C fresh fruit & 1 ½ C juice or water
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    4 tbsp. cold water
    butter
    cinnamon & nutmeg


    Shortcake Mixture

    2 1/3 C bisquick
    3 tbsp butter, melted
    ½ C milk
    3 tbsp. sugar

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400F.
    Heat in sauce pan the fruit & juice.
    Sweeten to taste.
    Bring to a boil.
    Blend cornstarch with cold water.
    Add to boiling fruit and mix for 1 minute.
    Pour into 9x13 glass dish.
    Dot with butter and sprinkle cinnamon & nutmeg on top.

    Mix together shortcake mixture and drop by spoonful over top.
    Bake 20 mins.
    Let stand 15 - 20 mins.
