Crockpot Stuffing

List of Ingredients
5 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
¼ C. minced fresh parsley
¾ C butter
3 pkgs. Pepperidge Farm Stuffing.
1 ½ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. sage, slightly crumble as adding
2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. dried thyme
½ tsp. pepper
2 eggs
2 -14 ½ oz. can chicken broth or 1 can broth & 1 can apple juice
Optional: 1-2 cans sliced water chestnuts
1 can whole pitted blk. Olives
1 lb. browned breakfast sausage
For sweetened: 1 C raisins
sugar & cinnamon to taste
Recipe
In large skillet saute all vegetables in butter until tender.
In large bowl, toss stuffing with all seasonings.
Add vegetable mixture.
Combine eggs & broth; add to stuffing mixture & toss.
Transfer to a slow cooker (sprayed with Pam).
Cover & cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
