    Mushroom Herb and Goat Cheese Tart

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 box frozen puff pastry
    • 1/2 stick butter
    • 7 cups thin sliced fresh mushrooms
    • 1 tbsp. chopped thyme
    • 1/2 cup chopped flat leaf parsley
    • 5 oz. goat cheese
    • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400.
    2. Lay out pastry on parchment on two seperate cookie sheets. Bake until golden, about 14 minutes.
    3. Remove and let settle and cool.
    4. Melt butter in skillet and saute mushrooms over high. Season with herbs.
    5. Spread mix into pastry, dot with goat cheese and sprinkle with parmesan.
    6. Bake 8-10 minutes. cut into 3-in peices
    7. Serve warm or at room temp.


    Final Comments


    Can be made the day beore. Wrap tightly and refridgerate, reheat 250 degree oven for 10 minutes.
