    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 lbs. lamb stew meat
    • 2 tsp olive oil
    • 4 Cups cold water
    • 2 Cups sliced, peeled potatoes
    • 1 Medium onion, sliced
    • 1/2 Cup sliced carrots
    • 1/2 Cup cubed turnip
    • 1 Teas. salt
    • 1/2 Teas. each dried marjoram, thyme and crushed rosemary
    • 1/8 Teas. pepper
    • 2 Tbl. all-purpose flour
    • 2 Tbl. milk
    • 1/2 Teas. browning sauce (optional)
    • 3 Tbl. minced, fresh parsley


    Instructions



    1. In Dutch oven brown lamb in over medium-high heat. Add water, bring to a boil, reduce heat
      and simmer for 1 hour. Add the vegetables and seasonings, bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Combine the flour milk and browning sauce until smooth, stir into stew. Add parsley, bring to a boil. Cook and stir for another 2 minutes.
