    List of Ingredients


    • 8 Russet Potatoes, thinly sliced
    • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
    • 1/2 Tsp. Pepper
    • 2 Cup Gruyere Cheese; shredded and divided
    • 2 Cups Light Cream


    Instructions


    1. Put sliced potatoes in salted water and boil for three minutes, drain.
    2. In buttered baking dish layer half of the potatoes and top with 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper and 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese. Cover with remaining potatoes.
    3. Add the light cream and remaining Gruyere cheese. Bring to a boil over direct heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    4. Brown under broiler for 2-3 minutes.
