- 8 Russet Potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1/2 Tsp. Salt
- 1/2 Tsp. Pepper
- 2 Cup Gruyere Cheese; shredded and divided
- 2 Cups Light Cream
Instructions
- Put sliced potatoes in salted water and boil for three minutes, drain.
- In buttered baking dish layer half of the potatoes and top with 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper and 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese. Cover with remaining potatoes.
- Add the light cream and remaining Gruyere cheese. Bring to a boil over direct heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Brown under broiler for 2-3 minutes.
