Bread Pudding
This is my grandmother's recipe for homeade bread pudding. There are many, many different versions of this but I always seem to love this one more than any other!
List of Ingredients
- 1 dozen eggs
- 1 sliced bread
- 1 block of butter
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 can coconut(with syrup)
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 can peach slices
- 1 can condensed milk
- splash of vanilla
Instructions
- Put bread in a large bowl, pour in 2 cups of water and mix a little with hands.
- Add all other ingredients and mash through with hands until it is all mixed. Using fingers, smash peaches, block butter and eggs.
- When everything is well mixed through, pour into a large cake pan and bake at 350 for about an hour
Final Comments
It is common to also add raisins in bread pudding which can be optional.
