    No Roll Sugar Cookies

    Preheat oven 350º

    Combine:
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 cup granulated sugar
    ½ lb margarine (2 sticks)
    1 cup cooking oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla (almond is an option)

    Gradually add:
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp cream of tartar
    4 2/3 cup flour

    I refrigerated the dough a couple hours-its easier to work with.

    Roll in 1 inch balls (or smaller) and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Dip glass bottom in sugar and flatten cookies - dip a second time for more sugary cookies.

    Bake about 10 minutes until lightly browned around edges.



    *****This makes a ton of cookies! Divide recipe if needed.
