    This is so good and easy. Our new favorite.

    List of Ingredients




    CAKE:
    2 C flour
    2 C sugar
    1/2 C butter
    4 Tbsp cocoa
    1/2 C oil
    1 C water
    2 eggs
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 C buttermilk

    Hot Fudge Cake Frosting:
    1/2 C butter
    6 tbsp milk
    4 Tbsp cocoa
    2 1/3 C powdered sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 C pecans, optional

    FOR THE CAKE:
    Preheat oven to 400. Grease a 9x13 pan.

    Mix flour and sugar into a large bowl.

    In a saucepan, combine butter, cocoa, oil and water. Heat to boiling. Pour
    over flour and sugar mixture. Mix well.

    Add eggs, baking soda, cinnamon and buttermilk. Mix well.

    Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes.

    After the cake has baked for 20 minutes, prepare frosting.

    FOR THE FROSTING:
    Mix the butter, mild and cocoa in a suacepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from
    heat and add remaining ingredients. Spread on cake while hot.

    ***notes-I never have buttermilk so I add a 1/2 Tablespoon of lemon juice
    to 1/2 cup of milk.
    Also, I made the frosting wrong the first time, I put everything together
    and brought to a boil and just poured it over the cake. That's how I do it,
    I haven't tried it the right way, but probably will the next time, just to
    see.
