Hot Pretzels

List of Ingredients
- 1 pkg fast-rising yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450*.
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water in a large mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup of flour and beat until smooth. Gradually add remaining flour and salt, mixing until a soft dough forms. If needed add small amounts of warm water if mixture seems too dry.
- Transfer dough to a lightly floured work area and knead gently for 5 minutes. Pull off dough by the handful and roll into a long snake-like strip.
- Lightly spray a non-stick cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange strips on cookie sheet in pretzel shapes. Sprinkle with additonal salt, if desired.
- Allow to rise for 15 to 20 minutes. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Variations: Spray each pretzel with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray and sprinkle with garlic salt before baking.
