Caramelized Onions

Recipe Introduction
These are a must-have with fajitas, but they are also great with any kind of meats or even just mixed with rice cooked with broth.
List of Ingredients
- 3 large onions, halved and sliced thinly
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and stir to coat.
- After onions are starting to soften, add sugar and a bit of salt. Saute until onions are lightly browned (you may need to lower heat to keep them from browning too much) - about 20 minutes.
- Add more salt to taste, if needed.
