    Recipe Introduction


    These are a must-have with fajitas, but they are also great with any kind of meats or even just mixed with rice cooked with broth.


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 large onions, halved and sliced thinly
    • 2 Tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil
    • 1 tsp. sugar
    • Salt to taste


    Instructions


    1. Heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and stir to coat.
    2. After onions are starting to soften, add sugar and a bit of salt. Saute until onions are lightly browned (you may need to lower heat to keep them from browning too much) - about 20 minutes.
    3. Add more salt to taste, if needed.
