1 k. malagkit
5 cups water
1 cup coconut milk 2 cups brown sugar
1/2 tsp. Anise seeds
For toppings:
3 cups coconut milk
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup galapong
Recipe
Submerge malagkit rice in water until swollen. Put in kawa, mix with water, coconut milk, sugar and anise. Mix continuously until it thickens while reducing fire. Remove and transfer to a flat rectangular pan. For the toppings, mix together all ingredients and cook over slow fire till thick. Pour over biko.
