/2 kilo beef twalya
1 cup cooking oil
2 cloves garlic
3 onions, sliced
100 grams ginger
1 tablespoon, black pepper
6 laurel leaves
4 cups water
1 cup vinegar
salt
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Recipe
1. Boil mendunggo (tuwalya) until soft. Slice according to one's preference.
2. Sauté garlic, onions, ginger, and spices in cooking oil the usual way. Add pieces of mendunggo. Salt to taste.
3. After boiling for some 15 minutes, mix in cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water. Continue mixing until soup thickens.
