DAING FRIED RICE
List of Ingredients
1 egg, cooked as omelet, then cut into strips
8 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, sliced
1 small carrot, cut into small cubes
3 medium (150 g) daing na bisugo (dried fish), fried and flaked into large pieces
1 pouch (250 g) Tomato Sauce
6 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup cooked or frozen green peas
4 stalks green onions, chopped
Recipe
Saute garlic, onion and carrot. Cook for 3 minutes while stirring. Add DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce. Cover and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes. Add rice, green peas and 1/2 tsp. iodized salt (or 1/2 Tbsp. rock salt). Blend well. Stir in daing, egg and green onions
