    1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
    1/2 cup (125 ml) dark brown sugar, packed
    1/2 cup (125 ml) butter at room temperature
    1 cup (250 ml) chunky peanut butter
    1/2 tsp (2 ml) vanilla extract
    1 egg
    1 1/2 cups (375 ml) all-purpose flour
    12 oz (335 g) semisweet chocolate chips*
    1 cup (250 ml) chopped pecans (optional)
    2 cups (500 ml) miniature marshmallows (optional)

    Recipe



    Combine the sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and the egg in a
    mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer. Beat in the flour and
    spread the dough onto a disposable 12-inch (30 cm) aluminum pizza pan,
    pressing it to form a rim around the edge. Bake in a preheated 375F
    (190C) oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and
    optional pecans and/or marshmallows. Bake an additional 5 minutes,
    until light golden brown. Remove from the oven, slice, and cool.
    Serves 10 to 12.
