List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs (675 g) veal stew meat, trimmed of excess fat
3 Tbs (45 ml) all-purpose flour seasoned liberally with
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 Tbs (30 ml) butter or vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (8 oz, 225 g) tomato sauce
1 can (5 oz, 140 g) evaporated milk
2 Tbs (30 ml) paprika
1 Tbs (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
Egg noodles cooked according to package directionsRecipe
Dredge the veal with the flour mixture. Heat the oil in a large
skillet over moderate heat and saute the veal until browned on all
sides. Combine the veal with the remaining ingredients except the
noodles and cook covered on low until the veal is tender, 6 to 8
hours. Stir before serving over egg noodles. Serves 6 to 8.
