Coconut Pecan Frosting

- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Instructions
- In saucepan, combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add coconut and pecans. Cool, beating occasionally, until thick enough to spread. Spread on layers and top of German Chocolate Cake.
