Gabby's Halibut Parmesan

List of Ingredients
- 3 lbs. halibut fillets, cut into 2 inch-wide pieces
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. butter, room temperature
- 1/2 c. fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. dried dill weed
- 1/2 tsp. ground white pepper
- 1/3 c. slivered almonds, toasted
- Sweet Hungarian paprika
Instructions
- Lightly butter or spray a large baking-type dish or pan.
- Place halibut pieces in the dish. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, butter, Parmesan cheese, green onions, dill weed and pepper. Stir the mixture to blend well. Spoon this mixture over the top of the fish pieces.
- Place the dish in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle toasted almonds and paprika over all. Return to oven and continue cooking for 5-10 minutes.
- Serve with fresh parsley sprigs and lemon wedges.
- Yields 20 small serving pieces.
