Chicken Casserole
List of Ingredients
- 12 oz. pkg. noodles
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- Pinch of sage
- 3 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1-2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 3-4 c. cooked chicken in bite-sized pieces
- Slivered almonds, if desired
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Saute onions in butter or margarine. Make mixture of sauteed onion, sage and soup.
- In buttered casserole dish, layer half of noodles, half of chicken, half of soup mixture and half of cheese; repeat layers.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with slivered almonds during last 15 minutes of baking time, if desired.
