    Chicken Casserole


    List of Ingredients


    • 12 oz. pkg. noodles
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    • Pinch of sage
    • 3 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
    • 1-2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    • 3-4 c. cooked chicken in bite-sized pieces
    • Slivered almonds, if desired


    Instructions


    1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Saute onions in butter or margarine. Make mixture of sauteed onion, sage and soup.
    2. In buttered casserole dish, layer half of noodles, half of chicken, half of soup mixture and half of cheese; repeat layers.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with slivered almonds during last 15 minutes of baking time, if desired.
