    Adapted from "Amish Chicken" recipe by PatT


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 oz. nooodles
    • 2 c. lean, cubed pork
    • 1/2 c. margarine
    • 1 med. onion, diced
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/3 c. flour
    • 1 c. milk
    • 2 c. chicken broth
    • 1 sm. can (about 3 oz.) mushrooms
    • 2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
    • 1/2 tsp. pepper
    • 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese


    Instructions


    1. Cook noodles according to package directions; Drain.
    2. Preheat oven to 350^.

    3. Melt margarine; saute pork until almost cooked through; add onion and garlic and continue to saute until vegetables are cooked.
    4. Stir in flour and gradually add milk and broth (separately, or can be mixed beforehand); then stir in seasonings and mushrooms.
    5. Combine pork mixture and cooked noodles. Put in ungreased 9x13" baking pan and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until meat is done.


    Final Comments


    This can be made ahead and heated when needed, but will take slightly longer to heat completely through.

    Optional: Add cooked vegetables of your choice.
