Peanut Butter Cookies

List of Ingredients



• 1/2 c. butter, softened
  
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
  
• 1/2 c. sugar
  
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
  
• 1 egg, well beaten
  
• 1 1/2 c. flour
  
• 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  
• 1/4 tsp. salt
  






Instructions



1. Cream butter and peanut butter together. Add sugar gradually and mix thoroughly. Add well-beaten egg to creamed mixture. Add dry ingredients tha have been sifted together once.
   
2. Chill dough well. Form into balls the size of a walnut; place balls on lightly greased baking sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour, making criss-cross pattern.
   
3. Bake in 400 degree oven 10-12 minutes.
   
4. Makes about 4 dozen.
